$10k Up for Grabs in September

Sun Poker have just released details of two new race promotions which will run throughout September. Each race will come with it’s own $5,000 guaranteed prize fund with the winner having a cool $2k added to his/her player account.

Race promotions are always a lot of fun mainly because you can always see how well you’re doing. Players earn points by playing in any real cash game on Sun Poker and those players with the most points are displayed on a leaderboard which updates on a daily basis. At the end of the race, the players occupying the top ten positions are all given a cash prize.

The first cash race will start on 1st September and will carry on until midnight on Sunday 13th September. The second race will kick off on 13th September and continue until the end of the month.

Now, the more eagle-eyed readers may well have noticed that the two races overlap on 13th September. That’s because, that Sunday has been nominated as a “Double Dip Day” meaning that all points earned on that day will count towards both the first and the second race. Not only do you get to finish the first race strongly, but you get to start the second race in great shape too.

All players progress will be recorded on the Sun Poker leaderboard which can be found at http://www.sunpokerbonus.net/ and at the end of each race, the $5,000 prize pool will be divided like this:

• 1st position – $2500
• 2nd position – $700
• 3rd position – $500
• 4th position – $300
• 5th position – $250
• 6th position – $200
• 7th position – $175
• 8th position – $150
• 9th position – $125
• 10th position – $100
